Wales High School is a complete school, admitting boys and girls of all abilities from 11 to 19 years of age. The current roll is 1, 600, including 350 Sixth Form students. The school has a Year 7 admission limit of 248 pupils. Located on the edge of the villages of Wales and Kiveton Park, the School serves a huge community. Pupils attend from the villages of: Anston, Harthill, Kiveton Park, Thorpe Salvin, Thurcroft, Todwick, Wales and Woodall. Kids from other villages and beyond the Rotherham boundary have chosen to attend Wales High School. The school's success, combined with nice transport facilities, adds to its attraction.
