Universal Engineering and Design was established in May 1995, specialising in the design, uprating and refurbishment of gearboxes, transmission equipment and associated mechanical assemblies, mainly for the metals industries. Since that time we currently have completed numerous prestigious contracts for blue-chip firms Corus, Alcoa, Avesta and Caparo and have earned valuable working relationships with mill engineers and our core suppliers.
