The OEC is one of Sheffields newest entertainment venues, located between Owlerton Stadium greyhound racetrack and Napoleons Casino, less than a mile from Sheffield City Centre.The OEC is purpose-built and designed to be a flexible venue for multiple uses. The venue offers highly adaptable room layouts, able to accommodate small and intimate events, all the way up to large events for up to 500 guests. The venue proudly boasts four VIP Hospitality Boxes, each with their own balcony and bar, and views over Owlerton Stadiums racetrack. The OECs Hospitality Boxes are also designed with flexibility in mind, with each Box able to combine for a capacity increase from 20 to 80 VIP delegates.

Had our wedding reception here on the 30th july, 5* quality the food was amazing the service was 1st class i couldnt have asked for anything else. Perfect day
I attended a wedding there last night after they opened earlier than planned due to the previous venue having to close the same week of the wedding. the OEC handled everything brilliantly. They came to the rescue and helped the bride and groom with their perfect day and made sure it was ran really well. Value for Money

Mixed bag views about the 80's night. The venue is nop notch no complaints there. Food was very nice and the DJ was brilliant. He played an excellent selection of 80's tracks, and not just the usual cliché ones. It was great to hear some that rarely get played. On the down side, I wasn't over enamored with the live band. I think I'd rather it had just been the DJ. My only other gripe was with the fancy dress competition. There were some very good costumes that night, so it was confusing to see it go to someone with wearing a few bright colours and a "I Love the 80's" top. Leaves me wondering if they were known to the judge. Value for Money

Great service great atmosphere we had a little hiccup with tables wrong but turned it round in minutes and made us feel at ease straight away very professional approach to the confusion staff was excellent from reception to the manager food was spot on def will be returning there’s was 24 of us and not one person was disapointed excellent venue Value for Money

Had our works Christmas party here last night. We were a little apprehensive as to how the night would pan out, with it being a newly opened venue, but our reservations were unfounded. The food was lovely. The staff were courteous and very well organised. The service was excellent. Entertainment throughout the evening. Couldn't fault anything about it.We all had a great time.

Fantastic venue
The OEC is a fantastic venue, the food was excellent, the service was fantastic, the staff very friendly, the only fault was the music, whilst eating the music playing wasn't appropriate (rave) and very loud also no current chart music was played by the DJ other than this it was an excellent night and would have given it 10/10 if the music was slightly better.
