read moreAfter a dress disaster I needed to find a dress with six weeks to spare before the wedding! Not ideal and when you are plus sized not easy! I found Curvaceous Bridal through a quick google search and after seeing the great reviews I contacted Chrissy to make an appointment and explained my predicament. Chrissy was so welcoming and put me at ease, there was never a doubt that we wouldn't find me a dress and she was so hopeful even phoning different places to see if rush orders could be made and seeing if my previous dress disaster could be traced (unfortunately it could not). There was a a really good selection of dresses and even with my time scale limitations I had loads to try on. I fell in love with my dress when I put it on. I never felt as though I was having a 'plus size' appointment as I had at other dress shops. The stock Chrissy has is stunning and I would highly recommend to any plus size bride. Thank you Chrissy! I live in Bolton so travelling to Sheffield was something that I didn't really want to do. All I can say is I am so happy I did. We got into the shop and there was a huge selection of dresses that I knew would all fit me. And Chrissy was lovely she let me try on as many as I wanted. And I ended up finding my dress. Firstly I cannot recommend enough the feeling of being able to try on any dress that took my fancy, something that I haven't been able to do at the 3 other bridal shops I had visited. We traveled a fair distance from Stafford and Manchester to curvatious bridal in Sheffield and we were not disappointed. Chrissy was fantastic and suggested styles and dresses whilst also managing to keep my little nephew Alfie entertained at the same time. We had such a lovely time and I found my wedding dress that I feel so so good in ( an amazing feat as I'm 4 months post baby and a plus size bride). Chrissy is even helping me find the perfect vail and has suggested bridesmaids outfits. I can't wait to go back in August for my dress. Any ladies looking for that bridal experience that we all deserve not matter your size please do visit and you may just find your dream dress also.

read moreAbsolutely amazing shop, Chrissy took real care of me, I was on my own so it was invaluable to have someone else see what worked and what didn't. Any curvier bride should go to this shop, fabulous selection of dresses and all the accessorise you could ever want. Time is really taken to listen to what the bride is after, but also selecting dresses that would look good on the bride when she clearly was no direction! (One of my favourites ended up being nothing like what I thought I wanted, I'm so glad she got me to try it!). Back there to try and narrow down my choice, if only I didn't like so many!

Thank you Chrissy. I had dreaded the whole bridal shop experience as I am rather busty' and find it difficult to get clothes that fit. However, when my mum and I walked into Curvaceous Bridal we were treated so warmly and immediately felt like we were with an old friend. Chrissy had chosen a selection of dresses for me to try based what I'd said on the phone and we found the PERFECT dress and accessories for me (cant say too much incase the Groom reads this) . I absolutely love it. This was all extremely short notice too! I hadn't left much time but Chrissy ordered my dress and it is a perfect fit. I can't rate Curvaceous Bridal highly enough!

read moreI was absolutely terrified about trying on dresses and I got myself into a right state beforehand, I had convinced myself I would never find a dress and was ready to cancel my appointment!! Thank goodness I didn't, from the second we arrived I felt happy and at home. The changing area was large, with lots of room to move and also had a fan which for me was just perfect as it was a very warm day.
Every single dress was just stunning and trying to pick a selection to try on was hard and I loved them all. Chrissy suggested I tried on a particular dress that I wouldn't have chosen myself as it wasn't what I had in mind. It was the first on I tried on and instantly fell in love, I felt amazing in it! I tried on a the others with a few different veils and hair accessories. I went home having ordered the very first dress I tried on, with no hassle or heartache - what more could you ask for!
I can not recommend Curvaceous Bridal enough and can not wait to come back to collect my dream dress and to see it again!
