Barking Mad was established in 2000 as an alternative to kennels. Our professional dog sitting service arranges holidays for dogs when their owners need to go away, because we believe dogs deserve a holiday too!Offering an alternative to traditional dog kennels is what we do but at the very core of our business is a desire to give customers complete peace of mind by delivering a professional, tailor made service which meets the individual needs of every dog in our care. We firmly believe in getting to know our customers and their furry family members, with Barking Mad youll never be asked to fill out lengthy forms on line or do all the hard work we take care of everything.
We operate Nationally through a network of carefully selected and expertly trained franchise business owners, all of whom are passionate dog lovers.
In each area we aim to create a community for our loving host families, many of whom are retired or living alone. Having a dog provides purpose, companionship and encourages healthy exercise.

Well come to you for an initial registration meeting which takes an hour, to find out about feeding and exercising routines, likes and dislikes and any other individual needs, so that we can match your dog/s with exactly the right family. No two dogs are ever the same so please dont worry, we love dogs of all shapes, sizes and ages, pedigree, Heinz 57 or rescue. They can sleep in the bedroom, pull on the lead, or even hide your favourite socks so long as theyre friendly wed love to meet them.Testimonials

After meeting Alaine I was confident and completly at ease about leaving my girls for two weeks. She had professional approach but it was also obvious she loves her job.
During our holiday we recieved constant updates and photos from there multiple trips and walks on the beach and countryside. These girls are large dogs and not easy to control if they get exited but no wories there ether .
This is a much better option than kennels where the dogs are locked up for hrs on end I would highy recomend Barking mad service and especially Alaine and David .
